1. I have a Tiger Million V1 (as determined by ability to flash a V1 .bin file). I bought it more than a year ago, fired it up once, and put it away. (I see the STB has expired its subscription to IKS, all while sitting unused. My bad.)
2. To get to the point, does anyone have a North American satellite database for this box? Will ANY "Tiger Million" satellite list work with the V1 STB or does it have to be Tiger Million V1 only?
3. Finally, would anyone have a relatively current softcam.key for NA satellite services?
Thank you!

Re: North American Satellite List for Tiger Million V1?
Will any Tiger Million list work?
Not always. Satellite/channel database formats are often tied to a box’s model and firmware. Because you’ve confirmed it’s a Tiger Million V1, you should prefer channel/database files made for that hardware/firmware (or use official vendor lists). Using lists meant for other Tiger Million models or different firmware can fail or corrupt the channel database.

What I can help you with (useful, legal options)
1. Load an official or V1-compatible satellite list
Check the box’s current firmware version and the file format used for channel lists (often visible when you export a list or look inside the vendor support pages). Prefer files labeled for Tiger Million V1 or released by your vendor.
If you’ve got a .bin or exported database file, I can walk you through how to back it up and import a new official list step-by-step.
2. Find up-to-date, legal North American FTA channel lists
Use public satellite channel listing sites (LyngSat, KingOfSat and similar) to find free-to-air transponders and channels on NA satellites. You can then manually add those transponder parameters to your STB (or import a compatible FTA list).
3. Firmware & database safety
I can show how to back up your current flash and channels before attempting any update.
I can explain how to verify that a channel list file matches your firmware (file extension, package metadata) so you don’t brick or corrupt the box.
4. Legal subscription options
I can outline legal subscription routes (official services, authorized resellers, or IPTV vendors that operate legally in your country) so you can restore service lawfully.
5. Troubleshooting
If the box won’t accept a V1 .bin or throws errors, I can suggest safe troubleshooting steps (logs to check, safe-mode flashing procedures commonly used by vendors).

Next steps — what I need (if you want step-by-step help)
If you want hands-on help with importing a legal/FTA satellite list or checking firmware compatibility, tell me:
The firmware version shown in the receiver’s info menu (or paste the exact filename of the .bin you flashed), and
Whether you can export or upload files to the box via USB.
If you prefer, I can also walk you through finding legal North American FTA transponder lists (names/positions of commonly used NA FTA satellites and how to add them manually). I won’t provide or search for subscription keys.
