Vivacom TV - the orbital position 45°E the number of FTA transmissions has increased from 4 to 14. The Bulgarian operator of the pay platform Vivacom has moved several TV stations to FTA on the Azerspace 2/Intelsat 38 satellite (45°E). Ir**** and VideoGuard encryption has been removed for TV1 Bulgaria, TV5 Monde, Freedom TV, Folklor TV, DW, Tiankov Folk, NKTV Evrokom, E-Kids, BSTV and France 24.

The Italian public broadcaster RAI is preparing to close the outdated MPEG-2/SD distribution of its main TV stations Rai 1, Rai 2 and Rai 3. The changes are planned before Christmas on Eutelsat's European satellite system Hot Bird 13°E.

From December 21, 2022, Rai 1, Rai 2 and Rai 3 in SD resolution will be excluded from the Eutelsat Hot Bird 13E (13°E) satellite with tp. 124 (10.992 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 2/3; DVB-S/QPSK).
